One thing I’ve always loved at the Belgrade is their yearly panto, but I hadn’t been since I was at uni (ahem… A decade ago…) So when the Belgrade invited me to their press evening for the kick off show of the panto season I shouted IT’S BEHIND YOU, and while they were distracted, I snatched the tickets.

Adult life is so hard, huh? Often when you want to reconnect with your friends, you compare calendars and there’s that all too familiar scenario… “How does the 5th sound?” “I’m out that day what about the 7th?” “Oh, I can’t do that… 9th?” “Busy then… Erm…”
That’s why when the fantastic team over at giffgaff gifted me a games night kit and challenged me to host a games night, I thought it’d be a fantastic way to reconnect my friends as a group. We’d not spent any time together for so long and it seemed like the perfect excuse!

Since I posted my first blog post on Nerdy enamel pins and where to find them, lots has changed. Not just generally in my life, but also there’s a heck load of new pins on the market as their popularity has BOOMED. Here are just a few of my favourites and a few on my wishlist!
You might get into the feeling that you can’t cosplay a certain thing because you’re plus size, so I wanted to try and find the best plus size cosplay around – not necessarily because they’re plus-size characters (like Ursula or The Queen of Hearts) but showing you can do the characters justice, regardless!
Before you say it, no… I was not tutored by Sir Ian, I just went to see him on his 80th Birthday tour. It really gave me an idea about who he is as a person, not just an actor and honestly, it was like talking with a friend. He really made a lasting impression on me so, I wanted to document what I learned along the way.

So I don’t normally write posts about stuff I’ve bought because often, well, I don’t buy things in bulk for no reason in a “haul” fashion. Most of the times I’ve been looking for Japanese snacks I’ve bought a JapanCrate or shopped at Tofu Cute when I’ve seen them at MCM Comic Con or something similar. I thought last week I’d check out their online store for the first time…
