Since I posted my first blog post on Nerdy enamel pins and where to find them, lots has changed. Not just generally in my life, but also there’s a heck load of new pins on the market as their popularity has BOOMED. Here are just a few of my favourites and a few on my wishlist!
You know how I’ve got a LITTLE bit of a pin-badge obsession? (Don’t we all nowadays?) Well I had the absolute pleasure of interviewing a maker of pin badges, glitter necklaces and earrings, BekBekMakes. A Coventry local, a mum and a maker – find out how she started off her creative career with a bang!

As always opinions are 100% my own!
Just a quick update from me today. Recently, I’ve not been feeling 100% – all my strength has gone, all my fire has burnt out, my self-esteem has plummeted. I’ve been working too hard, and not on the right things that make me happy. That’s why I’ve decided to focus my efforts solely on things which bring me joy… like ALL the Bubble Tea.

You might get into the feeling that you can’t cosplay a certain thing because you’re plus size, so I wanted to try and find the best plus size cosplay around – not necessarily because they’re plus-size characters (like Ursula or The Queen of Hearts) but showing you can do the characters justice, regardless!
Let me launch right in by writing about some of the amazing small businesses that I met at FarGo Village Vegan Festival last weekend. FarGo hosted their bi-annual vegan fair which is always a massive favourite of mine – I make a point of going there to support the tenants and FarGo themselves as much as possible.
Before you say it, no… I was not tutored by Sir Ian, I just went to see him on his 80th Birthday tour. It really gave me an idea about who he is as a person, not just an actor and honestly, it was like talking with a friend. He really made a lasting impression on me so, I wanted to document what I learned along the way.
What better way to learn more about your favourite independent bookshop than to talk to the owner! The person who created a wonderful writing haven for me – the genius (?) behind it all…
I did something today that I thought I’d never be able to do again. I took part in GoApe in Coventry. My body screamed “Don’t do it!”, my mind screamed “You’re crazy!” but this tiny part of me looked back at my scouting days and said…
“You’ve just got to try…”
So I don’t normally write posts about stuff I’ve bought because often, well, I don’t buy things in bulk for no reason in a “haul” fashion. Most of the times I’ve been looking for Japanese snacks I’ve bought a JapanCrate or shopped at Tofu Cute when I’ve seen them at MCM Comic Con or something similar. I thought last week I’d check out their online store for the first time…
It was the most perfect mistake.
Yet again, I have encountered something that I love so much that I just had to write about it there and then! The Dice Box in Leamington was on my list of places to visit and after going there today I was so impressed, that I wanted to write a little review of it! It’s really worth the visit!
