What better place to spend Ostara (Spring Equinox) than an ancient woodland? I thought it’d be good to arrange a trip to Puzzlewood to celebrate the occasion with some mindfulness, foraging, tarot reading and exploration!
I am so happy that Spring is on the way! I really enjoyed my Saturday with my gal, Lizzie having a relaxed wander around one of my favourite English Heritage sites, Kirby Hall.
How is it STILL January? I finally managed to get out of Coventry for a bit, and wandered over to Stratford-upon-Avon for a little wander round the historic town. Even at peak-tourism times, it just has this air of quietness about it, but today it was also thankfully empty too.
I’d say don’t come to Pontefract for a touristy visit? It’s not a place for that… It’s just a small market town without a lot going on. I am mostly here because I am visiting the in-laws for Christmas for the week and having some chill out time. There’s not a great deal to do but I found a few places to visit on a morning stroll…
Day two of our trip to Shrewsbury – today I got to go back to one of my favourite places to play some board games and drink milkshakes!
We’re on a weekend trip to Shrewsbury! <33 I am currently in my hotel having a rest and refresh before dinner. It’s been such a lovely, relaxed and touristy day today. Here’s what we’ve been up to…
A little write up of our weekend trip to York – I had a bad back but we made the best of it given the circumstances! I didn’t manage to take all the Halloween photos I wanted, but we still had a lovely time!
Hey everyone! I’m really happy that more is going on in Coventry this year, and I was so excited to be invited to Turtle Bay to try their food before it officially opened. Check out my review!

I’ve wanted to go to Hay-on-Wye ever since I heard about how many bookshops they had in one town. I couldn’t wait to do a staycation there, since we’re not going to be going abroad any time soon!
Here’s how it went, and what I recommend!
When visiting Faster Lente Llamas this weekend- a glamping site with added llamas – I finally exhaled. I felt like the breath that I’d been holding for the past few weeks had finally been released. It was tranquil, it was blissful… and there were llamas. I invite you to explore this amazing experience vicariously through me, and then maybe go and try it for yourself.
