I wanted to get this post out at a time where more people, like me, will have seen Series 2 of Umbrella Academy and will already dying be for more! Safe to say that the members of the Umbrella Academy have all developed very drastically as characters over this second series, so I wanted to provide my new definitive ranking of the members. Here are the worst to best Umbrella Academy members according to, well, me.
Some of my favourite geeky small businesses are still shipping throughout the lock-down! Here are just a few of the nerdier small businesses I know and love, who can keep us stocked up on nerdy goodness throughout the coming weeks.

So often I’m met by people who feel they don’t belong in the geek community. People who are quirky, different and interesting but don’t feel welcomed, either online or in person. I’m here to tell you – your perceived “geekiness” is not a measure of you as a person, and your opinion is just as valid as anyone else’s despite how much gatekeeping there is. Here’s why…
My first ever character was a Rogue, but that just didn’t suit me. Being the stealthiest and the first to react was fun, but playing a Bard just levelled up D&D for me and turned it from something good to something great.
Here’s how to effectively play a bard in D&D!
Does anyone else really struggle to bring their nerdy nature with them to work? For me I always have to tone myself down, go “main-stream” and buy fashion items, when all I really want to do is get into that nerdy sweater that’s hanging in my wardrobe. So I decided it was time to do a little digging to find some epic nerdy office wear…

Ever wondered what to get for your friend who is into Dungeons and Dragons? Once I started playing D’n’D it totally changed my life in so many ways! I’ve seen so much love for the game across the internet and so I thought I’d pick my selection of the best Dungeons and Dragons Gifts!
I’ve always loved Sci-Fi but I never feel like I have seen enough! I wanted to explore as much as possible, from the first Sci-Fi Movie “Le Voyage Dans Le Lune” (1902), right through to the latest releases and sub-genres that have expanded throughout the years. Because, Sci-Fi always makes us question;
Where will science take us? What’s going to happen to us? What’s NEXT?
I’ve already considered what makes a good Sci-Fi story, and so I started doing a little research into the release dates of movies (and some extra reading). I realised that there is a pattern in what’s happening in society and science, and the types of movies that became popular at the time.
Welcome to Part 2 of my guide on Where to start with Anime! Well done for making it this far. If you missed the first instalment then go back to Part 1 HERE for the Dramatic and the Dark ones.
Depending on your mood, something intense might not be where you’re at. Sometimes, you might just want a good cry, or a laugh, or something entirely lighthearted.
This list is just for you.
I can’t pretend that I am a connoisseur of anime, but I feel like I’ve at least watched enough (about 30 or so) different anime movies and shows to give you an insight into where to start with anime.
Anime is a style rather than a genre and so many people seem to mistake anime as a genre of movie rather than just a form. Just like other styles, it all depends on your mood as to what you can cope with or feel like watching – whether it be action, romance or something entirely different. Part 1 below is all about the dramatic or the dark anime, for those in the mood for action!
