I had such a fun day yesterday at CovCon – we spent a few hours wandering round the stalls and ahem… buying too many things!
Coventry Assemble! Opening night for Assembly Festival Space
For the first time in what feels like so long I am BUZZING! I attended the opening night of Assembly Coventry – the new festival space now open in Coventry City centre as part of the City of Culture 2021. I was invited to a night of incredible entertainment, food and best of all… a festival atmosphere. How I’ve missed it! It’s been too long…
This Girl is on Fire! Rekindling my blogging spirit
Lately, I’ve been feeling quite sad that my blog has remained dormant for so long! After a brief chat with my pal, Lizzie, she’s told me that once she stopped worrying about stats, or “having something important to say” it took a weight off her mind and now she just posts what she feels. Reports on all her days out, her outfits, her feelings. That’s what I’ve been missing from blogging! That… and the additional time it takes to write.

But I thought, seeing as it’s Halloween season (aka… September right up to October 31st) I’d start producing some more posts for my favourite time of the year.

Theatre Review: A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness
A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness is one of my favourite books, so when I was invited to the Belgrade Theatre to watch an on stage adaptation, I practically snatched their hands off! Never mind the pressure of performing in front of hundreds of other people every night, I don’t think the crew realised what pressure they were under having to impress me. The standards were going to have to be very high indeed…
My Tamagotchi Baby Chapter One: Baby’s First Everything
So this is what it’s like to be a parent… Constantly at a tiny thing’s beck and call. An incessant MEEP MEEP – feed me! MEEP MEEP – I did a poo!
This is my life as a parent. This is my life, with a Tamagotchi.
9 Top Tips for Building a Community in your Local Area
I recently started a local community in my area, and was asked by a fellow geek – how do I start one in my area?
