I wanted to share just some of the amazing books I’ve read so far this year. I’ve tried to choose exclusively fantasy and queer fiction and as such, I’ve now gained quite the list of books I’d love to recommend to anyone who wants to read more queer witch/fantasy books.
My Year in Witchery so far
Hello everyone! I’ve been experimenting with more spell work now that my house is properly cleansed and it feels a lot more like my own. Just wanted to make a little diary entry on how that’s going, including a spell for International Women’s Day!
Wild Women: Sacred Feminine Drumming Circles
Elaborating on my previous post from Coven of Gaia festival, I wanted to focus in on how I felt during my first experience with a feminine energy drum circle, and also reach out to the leader of the circle, Melonie Syrett aka “The Drum Woman” to understand what it means to be a part of and lead these powerful feminine spaces.

Witch Festival for Autumn Equinox
After the success of the May festival, I decided to head to the September Coven of Gaia festival with my wonderful witchy friend, Erin – this time with a full weekend ticket!
Autumn Equinox Rituals and Meanings
As the Autumn Equinox is almost upon us, I thought I’d take some time to reflect on what it means for me and what I plan to do to welcome the new season.
Mini-getaway Pt.2: Cheddar Gorge
I have finally let go of a bit of the stress I’ve been carrying around with me, and have really enjoyed wandering around Cheddar Gorge! It was a very peaceful day and I’d fully recommend it to anyone travelling through the Somerset area! Here’s what we saw…
Mini-getaway Pt.1: Mary Shelley’s House of Frankenstein
I am officially in holiday mode now! After what has been a ridiculously overwhelming and hectic few months at work, I’ve finally got a proper week off – and boy, is it needed! We decided to visit Bath on our way down to our week’s stay in Cheddar Gorge, and visit Mary Shelley’s House of Frankenstein!
My Witch Activity Checklist
As I’m just starting out along this path, I thought I’d create a checklist of all the witch activities I plan to do over the next year. I hope this helps anyone currently starting out with the craft too <3
Spring Equinox Tarot reading and visit to Puzzlewood
What better place to spend Ostara (Spring Equinox) than an ancient woodland? I thought it’d be good to arrange a trip to Puzzlewood to celebrate the occasion with some mindfulness, foraging, tarot reading and exploration!
Witchy Beginnings – Initial reflections on my new path
I am a witch – there I said it. ‘Coming out’ is always tough when you’re starting out in witchcraft. Witchy communities can often feel gatekeeper-y and non-witches can often not understand your practices… But there we are! Here’s to the start of my journey. *clink*
