How is it STILL January? I finally managed to get out of Coventry for a bit, and wandered over to Stratford-upon-Avon for a little wander round the historic town. Even at peak-tourism times, it just has this air of quietness about it, but today it was also thankfully empty too.
My 2022 to-do list
I kept wondering what my new year’s resolutions would be for this year, and I realised… I am pretty perfect. Just kidding – there are many things I could improve of course, but given the state of the world I think it has some explaining to do before it starts pointing fingers.
So instead I decided to write out some things that I REALLY want to do this year. (Pandemic permitting!)

Reflection on 2021
As I hunker down and try not to get Covid just before Christmas as I’m sure most of us are, I thought I’d reflect on the year of 2021. Despite the fact this year has been like the trashy 2020 sequel that nobody asked for, there were some good bits. It’s just like panning for gold…
Unbox with me! Blippo Surprise Kawaii Mixed Bag Review
Although I’m a goth at heart, I absolutely cannot resist injecting a little bit of pastel into my wardrobe and my daily life! Are we ready to get some cuteness into our lives, together??
Oh no she didn’t! Beauty and the Beast at the Belgrade* Review
One thing I’ve always loved at the Belgrade is their yearly panto, but I hadn’t been since I was at uni (ahem… A decade ago…) So when the Belgrade invited me to their press evening for the kick off show of the panto season I shouted IT’S BEHIND YOU, and while they were distracted, I snatched the tickets.

Oh my goth: Autumn Outfits in my Capsule Wardrobe
I never really had a “style” – it’s only post-pandemic that I’ve really looked at what I wear and thought, I am going to make full outfits that really match how I feel and who I want to present on the outside. It’s inspired me to make a post about my latest outfits… something I don’t really do but, ya know… now I feel like my style might be something to be desired?!
Happy Halloween! October Wrap Up
October has, once again, been a month of ups and downs. Overall though, I’ve had some really positive moments that I wanted to focus on, as I wish you all a very Happy Halloween.
Green Hair, Don’t Care: Pumpkin Patch Visit
What a difference a week makes! I visited the pumpkin patch near Coventry – Pumpkins R Us – last week, and again this week with a different group of friends… and it was an entirely different experience!
Wretched Romance by SheGlam Eyeliner Review
I don’t do this often – in fact I’m not sure I’ve ever done a make up review before… but there’s a first time for everything! I wanted to review this Wretched Romance eyeliner set I got from Shein for Halloween. So here are my thoughts with ratings out of 5.
Ookily Spookily Pumpkin Patch Coven Date!
I absolutely love visiting my local pumpkin patch every October. It was the one thing I managed to do to celebrate last year since we were still in lock-down. So…this year I’ve decided to go twice! I went with my lovely coven gals this weekend and next week I’ll return for more photo ops and pumpkin picking!
