I’m dreaming of a Brighton Christmas…

Who doesn’t like to treat themselves a little at Christmas? Especially when you’ve spent so long shopping for others and you need a little TLC!

I went off to see family in Brighton this weekend and grabbed the opportunity to visit the new Oliver’s Brighton – a Harry Potter gift shop that’s just opened this winter!

Oliver's Brighton Review

Let us step into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Brighton is the perfect place for a shop like this. The North and South Laines are the brightest, most colourful and unique place in the UK and Oliver’s just lends itself to the area. I’d love for a Harry Potter shop to open in my Coventry but alas, I feel it’s not the place for it!

It’s just what I needed – a place to buy really good quality Harry Potter gifts and be transported into the world I always feel at home in once more…

It is our choices that show what we truly are…

After visiting the Warner Bros Studios last week and it being so Christmassy, Oliver’s made my week! It was exciting, intriguing and a perfectly magical place. Oliver was a delight (and looked so smart!) and I ended up getting so many goodies (everything was so reasonably priced too).

Olivers Brighton helps the local community by donating £1 from every Oliver’s Brighton product sold, (plus any donations for the paper bag) to buying supplies for the local homeless people. They have raised (probably over now) £500 so far! What amazing human beings!

I solemnly swear I am up to no good…

Of course I treated myself a little too much… But you have to understand, this place is INCREDIBLE. You’d have had to drag me away from the more expensive items which were such good quality that they looked like the original props!

Brighton is my home-from-home and I love this welcome addition to the thriving businesses that I love to visit every time I’m in town. I can’t wait to go again!

Next week is my round-up of the year so I’ll post all the things I bought then (to fill my already Harry Potter mad house…)
