How do you pick your class in D’n’D? When I created my first character, I thought about what he would be like first and then picked the race and class backwards. I think because it was my first time playing, I put lots of my heart into my character and as advised by my more learned friends, I made a character that emphasised some of my own traits… Basically… he was a bit of a bastard. But what do you do if you have a blank canvas?
Yet again, I have encountered something that I love so much that I just had to write about it there and then! The Dice Box in Leamington was on my list of places to visit and after going there today I was so impressed, that I wanted to write a little review of it! It’s really worth the visit!
Ever wondered what to get for your friend who is into Dungeons and Dragons? Once I started playing D’n’D it totally changed my life in so many ways! I’ve seen so much love for the game across the internet and so I thought I’d pick my selection of the best Dungeons and Dragons Gifts!
One of my new self-imposed goals for 2019 is to write more about the nerdy/geeky stuff that I enjoy! Things like D’n’D (aka Dungeons and Dragons), which I wrote a post about last year. It’s totally changed my life! My new series, Critical Hit! is going to be all about DnD! To kick it all off I thought I’d interview the person who is my DnD Dungeon Master! (He’s the brains of the outfit.)
So many of us want to break into more nerdy card games and geeky board games, but where to start? I am quite lucky in that I have a great group of friends who introduced me into this world of geeky board games and card games! Sometimes you can’t commit enough time to a full Dungeons and Dragons campaign (although I did for the first time this week and it was AMAZING). Sometimes an awfully complicated strategy game can also take hours to set up.
Sometimes you just need to start small, and aim high.
