Although English chocolate and sweets are pretty amazing, one thing I’ve always felt they lack is INTERACTIVITY. I’ve been buying these Popin’ Cookin’ Japanese DIY sweet kits for years now and so I realised it’s about time I did a proper blog post, reviewing some of my favourites!
One thing that’s come from this lock-down is that I’ve finally cracked open some of my graphic novels that I’ve been harbouring since last year. I picked up SnotGirl: Green Hair Don’t Care, instantly finished it and bought the next one! This is my review while I wait (im)patiently for Snot Girl Vol3!
Some of my favourite geeky small businesses are still shipping throughout the lock-down! Here are just a few of the nerdier small businesses I know and love, who can keep us stocked up on nerdy goodness throughout the coming weeks.

Now that a few weeks of lockdown have passed, I know what you’re all thinking.
“What cooperative video games can I play with my partner/family that will make us even more annoyed with one another?”
Well, have no fear! Here are my top 7 co-op Steam games that will leave you screaming at each other.
I asked my lovely friend, Rachel, for her top tips on how to play a fighter in D&D. Rachel has been playing as a fighter in a regular campaign for some time now, and as I’m used to more of a spell-caster vibe of character, I thought the lockdown would be the perfect opportunity to pick her brains!
Self-isolation is tough as hell! So I thought I’d give you all just a few geeky isolation activities to get you through the gloom! If you’ve got any of your own, comment them below…
I had the good fortune to meet Katie from Serpentile, who makes beautiful D&D dragon statement pieces, through the magic of social media. She approached me first to support me as she’d seen by my body confidence blog post and it struck a chord with her… and after seeing her beautiful D&D themed creations I just had to follow and support her right back!

I first heard that Nerdy Coffee Co were opening a board game cafe in Shrewsbury, when I visited for a friend’s wedding. I had the good fortune of meeting the owners there and chatted about how exciting it was that they were opening soon.
So after my friends made their vows, I made one of my own – one day, I’d visit that board game cafe with the happy couple! And we did.
Wondering what to spend that pocket money on? Want to spend some nights in with friends during those cold and wintry days? Then you NEED to get yourselves some Big Potato party games! Here are a run-down of some of my absolute favourites!

It’s been a little while since I got excited enough about something to put up a Harry Potter related post, but after my recent trip to York, I just had to. After visiting The Shambles which was actually one of the inspirations behind Diagon Alley, I was immersed once more into the world of Harry Potter.
