One thing which people might not realise about blogging is the importance of the pictures! I am usually very… scruffy. I rarely dress up for anything unless there’s a photo-shoot involved because I am super lazy, but sometimes even when I am dressed to the nines… I have to battle with my EPIC awkwardness. I feel bad for any person who has ever tried to get a good photo of me. They must have the patience of saints, because for every good picture there about 10 where I am awkward as hell.
I feel you should never doubt yourself and just like real life, blogging should be about your flaws just as much as the perfectly styled shots. Things don’t always go to plan, so… here are my blogging bloopers. Enjoy!
I BLAME THE ELEMENTS.
Seriously, why is it that the wind picks up as soon as I kinda look decent enough for a photo-shoot? It takes a lot of effort to look this semi-presentable, I’ll have you know! My hair has to behave itself AND my make-up should be on point… AND there can’t be any freak gusts of wind? Impossible.
JUST ACT NATURAL.
One of my problems is I can’t stop fidgeting – whenever I have a shoot I suddenly get THE FEAR. I can’t shake the feeling of anxiousness as I am being SCRUTINISED. Not only are all my wobbly bits there to be picked up by camera, but I just don’t know how to pose.
HOW AM I EVEN DOING THAT?
Sometimes, when I’ve had shoots, my body has been at a mad angle without me even realising. I don’t understand how I can be so sideways, but think that I am standing upright?
SO THERE YOU HAVE IT… JUST A FEW OF MY BLOGGING BLOOPERS.
Things don’t always go to plan, or they do go to plan and I am just super awkward… but hey ho! That’s me. Last year I barely took any photos of myself for my blog – in 2017 you won’t really find many at all. But over 2018, I’ve learnt to love myself – lumps and bumps, crazy unruly hair, awkward poses and all!
